Fair Trade Status

We are delighted to report that we have been awarded "Fair Trade School" status.

Headteacher Appointment

Dear Parents
I am delighted to be able to inform you that following a rigorous two-day selection process Jo Robinson has been appointed to succeed Mary Hastings-Trew as headteacher in January 2011.

The governors believe this appointment will enable the high standards that we all expect for the school and pupils to continue to develop. Mrs Hastings-Trew and Mrs Robinson will be working closely together during the Autumn term to ensure an efficient handover.

We are sure you will all join us in wishing Mrs Robinson every success in her new role.

Artsmark Gold

Arts Council England has awarded an Artsmark Gold to our school for the second time in recognition of our commitment to, and excellence in, arts education.
This recognises our dynamic arts education programme, a fantastic achievement for a school of our size and location.
Thanks to all the staff for their hard work in achieving this award.
